Breathing Apparatus Course

This course is designed for any persons who in the course of their normal duties would be required to safely use a Breathing Apparatus to escape a situation that poses a threat to life by means of gasses.

Protective breathing apparatus is extremely crucial to the well-being of the Fire Teams. Failure to use this equipment could lead to failed rescue attempts, fire fighter injuries, or fire fighting fatalities.

After completion of this course the candidate will be able to safely and efficiently use a Breathing Apparatus to escape a potentially harmful gas.
